Our experts at Urban Entertainment were called upon to create a fan park that would capture all of the excitement on a big screen. And boy did we hit the back of the net…
Outdoor cinema company on tour
We headed some 4,500 miles from Sheffield to Umbrella Beach in Fujairah, part of the United Arab Emirates and close to Dubai, for this job.
The team was tasked with creating a fan park for football lovers to enjoy games taking place as part of the World Cup.
Our experts needed to design every detail, down to the doors as well as where the air conditioning would go. It was all to happen inside two containers located within the beach resort.
It was a vast task which took two days to complete, working until the early hours of the morning. But what an incredible project to be part of.
And as a result the fan park looked incredible, as well as providing a high-quality sports experience.
It’s all about the fans
Umbrella Beach is a striking destination – packed with restaurants and waterside activities for families. It only opened just over a year ago but is fast becoming a local hotspot.
Our fan park created a special place dedicated to the football action within this setting. There was seating for more than 500 fans and every single game in this World Cup (all 64 of them ) were shown live on our big screen.
In conclusion, we smashed it.
All of the feedback we’ve received has been premiership, which we are simply thrilled to see!
